Field Trips

NO REMAINING DATES FOR FOR SPRING 2024

Utilizing the vast array of resources at Eden Mill, we offer a variety of stations for your field trip. The number of stations offered is dependent on your group size and will be determined by our staff. Most field trips have 3-4 stations.

Field trips lengths are two hours and can begin at 9:30, 10:00, or 10:30am based on your group’s needs.

The use of our covered pavilion is reserved for your group and is a great area to have lunch after the program! Feel free to run any activities after lunch too! Spring field trips are offered in April, May, and early June. Fall field trips are offered in September and October.

Utilizing curriculum from Project WILD, Learning Tree, and WET, students will actively learn about an aspect of nature through one or two games.

Field Trip Pricing and Chaperones

The cost of the program is $10 per child. Our maximum number of participants is 80 per day.

We recommend one adult chaperone for every five participants. We limit the number of chaperones to prevent groups from becoming too large and unmanageable, but ultimately how many chaperones aend is up to you to decide. Excessive chaperones (exceeding the 1:5 ratio) will each be charged a $5 fee (cash only). For Pre-k groups, 1 adult per 1 child is permitted. Chaperone fees can be paid upon arrival. Siblings are not permitted.

Field Trip Release Forms

All group members, including adults, must have an Eden Mill release form completely filled out prior to the program. More detailed instructions will be provided after booking your trip.
