Trails & Map

Eden Mill consists of 118 acres of varied natural habitat providing a sanctuary for animals and plant life. The trail system threads through these habitats and provides visitors with approximately 3 miles of hiking trails.

Loop hikes can be planned so that hikers need not retrace their steps. Some trails, such as Beaver Run, are right along scenic Deer Creek!

We have a main trailhead, located near the Eden Mill Road bridge, that is the official start of the trails. Many visitors prefer to park near the buildings and start their hiking journey on Pollipot trail, right next to our canoe and kayak launch, that will lead right to the main trailhead.

Have a little tot or stroller and need a short flat trail to explore?

Jump on the Buffer Zone trail, located along Deer Creek below the dam, and take a StoryWalk!

In partnership with the Harford County Public Library, we are proud to have this fun, educational, and self-guided activity along our Buffer Zone trail in the lower park! Each season, a new children’s book, with corresponding activities, is posted along our trail!

The trails are open daily, from dawn to dusk. All dogs must be on a leash while in the park. Please pick-up after your pet!

We hope you come out and enjoy the many hiking opportunities.
